ABOUT US

Working for indigenous women affairs

Indigenous women development affairs Organization is a women led organization that works to amplify indigenous women and girls’ voices. IWDA foster to enhance indigenous women and girls needs and priorities are carter at all spheres of life and influence decision making at different development agendas. This starts from empowering and capacitating indigenous women in income generation activities, eradicating all forms of gender based violences, and raising awareness to women and girls on adaptations and mitigations strategies on climate change impacts. Furthermore, influences cultural heritages and indigenous languages and mainstream to generations and generations bound by indigenous knowledge.
